common signs of pregnancy

Every pregnancy is different, and early pregnancy symptoms can vary from person to person. Some individuals experience several symptoms, while others notice very few.

Common early signs of pregnancy include:

SHOULD I TAKE A PREGNANCY TEST?

If you are experiencing one or more of these symptoms listed above, taking a pregnancy test may be a good next step.

Pregnancy tests are typically accurate after a missed period and can help provide clarity about whether you are pregnant. If a pregnancy is confirmed, an ultrasound is the best way to determine how far along you are.

We offer free and confidential pregnancy testing and are here to answer your questions and support you as you consider your next steps.

We provide free urine-based pregnancy tests that detect the pregnancy hormone (hCG). These tests are highly accurate when taken after a missed period; however, no pregnancy test is 100% accurate in every circumstance.

Factors such as testing too early can affect results. If there are questions about your result or pregnancy status, additional medical follow-up may be recommended.

The Wellington Pregnancy Care Centre is not a medical clinic. Our pregnancy tests are provided for informational purposes and should not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or care from a healthcare professional.
